PBJ Playground
In a quiet town, there was a creepy old playground called PBJ Playground. No one knew what PBJ really stood for — some said Peanut Butter & Jelly, others claimed it meant Playground of Bone and Joy.
Legend said that if you brought a PBJ sandwich there and slid down the squishy, jelly-colored slide, your sandwich would vanish. In its place? A sticky note that said:
"Thanks for the snack. Yum."
One night, three brave kids — Maya, Jordan, and Leo — went to test the legend with the ultimate PBJ sandwich. Leo slid down the slide… and poof! the sandwich was gone.
But this time, there was no note.
Instead, a small, gooey PBJ creature oozed out of the slide. It had jelly eyes, peanut butter arms, and toast for feet.
“I’m Snackles,” it said. “I just get lonely. I like sandwiches... and friends.”
So the kids shared sandwiches and stories under the stars.
From that night on, PBJ Playground wasn’t haunted anymore — just hungry and a little sticky.
